Terms and Conditions Web Shop (GTC)
The webshop on https://www.skincode.com website (the “Web Shop”) is an online shopping service from Skincode AG for customers in Switzerland, Europe and Overseas.
In order to place an order on this site you must be a natural person, 18 years or older and have full legal capacity. By ordering a product on the Website, you acknowledge having read and fully accepted these General Terms and Conditions of Sale (“GTC”).
Any industrial or commercial use for the purpose of resale of goods to third parties is strictly prohibited. Such violations will lead to immediate cancellation of the order. In such event, Skincode AG reserves the right to claim damages and undertake any further actions prescribed by law or statute.
2. Orders, Prices, Payment terms, VAT, etc.
2.1 Conclusion of Contract
The Web Shop and the product descriptions in the Web Shop constitute an invitation to submit offers (place an order). The Web Shop and the product descriptions do not contain legally binding offers of Skincode. By placing an order you make an offer to purchase the products from Skincode. Skincode is free to accept or decline your offer. By sending our confirmation e-mail the order becomes binding. As a rule, on business days, a confirmation e-mail will be sent within 24 hours from receipt of your order.
All products on the Web Shop are subject to availability. Skincode AG reserves the right to add and delete any product from the Web Shop at any point of time. In the event an ordered product is unavailable, our Customer Service will reach out to you per e-mail as soon as possible and we will promptly reimburse any payments already received from you related to the unavailable product.
If we decline your offer we will promptly reimburse any payments already received from you relating to the refused order. We also reserve the right to limit the maximum delivery quantity per item and customer. In such event, and if we already have received payment from you, we will reimburse you the exceeding amount.
Applicable prices to your order are those on the site at the time of your order. The information contained in this Web Shop may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. All liability of Skincode howsoever arising for any such inaccuracies or errors is expressly excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. We also reserve the right to change our prices at any time without prior notice, but such changes will not affect your orders accepted prior to such modifications.
All prices are net prices inclusive of Swiss VAT. Taxes, duties and shipping charges are not included in the prices and may apply for orders outside of Switzerland. See Shipping

You are responsible for payment of fees and charges related to payments with credit cards connected to bank accounts located outside the Eurozone.
Payment shall be made immediately upon placing the order. The following payment options are offered: Master Card, Visa and American Express. All payments are handled by Stripe or PayPal. The data is encrypted and transmitted to the respective institution for processing.
3. Shipping. Deliverable Zones, Delivery Times, etc.
We supply to Switzerland and to further selected countries. Products will be delivered to the address indicated on the order confirmation. As a rule, the order will take 2-10 working days to be delivered. For further information, see Shipping.
3.2 Shipping costs
We offer free shipping on all orders in Switzerland. For other countries, see Shipping
3.3 Wrong, incomplete or damaged orders
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by mistaken or damaged shipments. If you receive a wrong, incomplete or damaged order, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt of the goods. Provide us with your order number and pictures of the parcel received for our team to evaluate the situation. We will ship a new parcel replacing the faulty or missing items free of charge.
You may return ordered products within 14 days from the receipt of the products for any reason and without justification. We do not accept any returns of product that have been opened or the seal has been removed. The return shall be notified to us in writing (i.e. by e-mail or regular mail) on the address below. You will bear the costs of returning the products. This right of return does not limit any statutory rights of revocation you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
The products shall be stored in a dry environment, between 10-25°C and avoid direct sunlight.
We highly value you as our customer and take pride is providing you with qualitative products. Our products go through a quality assurance test as part of production. Nevertheless, mistakes happen. Should you receive a faulty product we will replace it in accordance with clause 3.3 above. Our warranty is two years from the date of the order. All further warranty rights are excluded as far as legally possible.
All further representations or warranties with respect to the products, whether express or implied, are expressly excluded.
4. Data Protection and Privacy
Data protection and privacy of our customers is very important. We do not share your personal data with third parties without your consent. Exceptions include data necessary for executing the orders, for processing and monitoring of payments, to conduct credit checks, and assessing the use of our website (web analytics). All personal information you provide to us (name, first name, home address, delivery address, e-mail address, telephone number and purchases) will be treated as strictly confidential. We may use your personal data to contact you for market purposes, but only if you agree for us to use your data for particular marketing purposes by clicking the relevant check box.
We are liable for any damages to your health in the event these are caused by our negligence or intent.
We are also liable for further damages if these are the result of our gross negligence or intent.
Any further liability is excluded. This exclusion of liability shall not limit any non-contractual liability resulting from applicable product safety laws.
6. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
The purchase agreement shall be governed by Swiss law under exclusion of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
The courts of Zurich, Switzerland shall have exclusive jurisdiction with respect to any disputes arising out of or in connection with this purchase agreement, except if otherwise required by mandatory national or international laws or treaties.
7. Unforeseeable extraordinary circumstances
Unforeseeable, extraordinary circumstances may in individual cases have a negative impact on our possibilities to fulfilling our agreement. For example, National COVID-19 regulations could in individual cases prevent Skincode from shipping orders. In such case, Skincode has the right to either postpone or cancel the order. In the event of a cancellation of the order, you will be fully reimbursed for the payment received by us related to the order. Skincode Terms and Conditions apply in all other parts.
8. Modification of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale
Skincode AG has the right to update these General Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time without notice. The version of the General Terms and Conditions that were valid at the time of your purchase, and that you have accepted during the checkout process, is the version applicable in the context of the specific purchase agreement concluded by our acceptance of your offer.
